Bürotime was founded in 1994 in the Konya Organized Industrial Zone under the auspices of Tosunoğulları Mobilya A.Ş.
This marked the beginning of a long and multi-year journey in the furniture industry, followed by an award-winning institutionalization process, which led to the birth of the Bürotime brand in 2000. To meet ever-increasing demand, Bürotime’s production facility covers 140,000 m². International sales began in 2002, and today the company exports to 50 countries worldwide, with 150 sales points.
Bürotime believes that work-life balance is achieved through sustainable thinking, considering various office use scenarios. Its design strategy is based on human-centered, quality product alternatives that enhance quality of life and protect the ecosystem. Having taken a significant step toward becoming a “national brand” by transforming the sales channels it had developed from a dealer system to concept stores in line with its unique business model, in 2008 the world’s first state-funded brand development program, TURQUALITY, was incorporated into this process.
Each year, as a leading manufacturer, the company increases its production capacity and market share in its respective country, thereby contributing to the development of the local economy and bringing the necessary fundamental quality requirements and awareness that developed countries place special emphasis on international certification in meeting product standards. To meet these requirements and provide consumers with a high-quality, “fresh atmosphere” in their interiors, the company submitted an application to the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute in 2014 and joined the certification process, earning the title of “the first office furniture manufacturer in Turkey to be eligible for the GREENGUARD Gold certification in the “Seating and Furniture” category in Turkey.”
